2. What we do not do on this website
We begin with what does not happen, because it is the most relevant part and, in practice, the most unusual:
- we do not use cookies and we do not place similar tracking technologies;
- we do not use statistics or traffic analysis tools;
- we have no forms – contact, subscription or of any other kind;
- we do not embed third-party elements – maps, videos, social media buttons, fonts loaded from external providers;
- we do not display advertising and we do not allow third parties to track visitors;
- we do not create visitor profiles and we do not take automated decisions about them;
- we do not sell, rent or transfer data to third parties for commercial purposes.
The practical consequence: you can browse this site without sending us any information about yourself and without being asked for any consent, since there is nothing for which consent would be necessary.
3. What is nevertheless processed, at a technical level
Like any website, this one runs on the servers of a hosting provider. The servers automatically record, in technical logs, information about each access: IP address, time of access, page requested, browser type and operating system.

This is the only data processing that takes place by simply visiting the site. It is not specific to this site – it happens on any website, regardless of what the site states.
4. If you contact us
The site contains no forms, so any communication starts from you, through the channel you choose.
4.1. By e-mail – If you write to us at psiholog@monicabolocan.ro, we process your e-mail address, display name and the content of the message, in order to reply. Legal basis: art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – the legitimate interest in responding to a request; or art. 6(1)(b), if the message constitutes a pre-contractual step. Retention: requests that do not lead to a collaboration are kept for 6 months. Subsequent correspondence concerning an assessment follows the regime described in the information notice for service users. The e-mail service provider is Google, through the Google Workspace service contracted for our own domain, acting as processor.
4.2. By telephone – We process your telephone number and the information you give us, in order to reply. We do not record calls.
4.3. By WhatsApp – The WhatsApp channel (@psiholog.monicabolocan) is available exclusively for general questions about the services offered. Please do not send documents, personal data about yourself or your child, or health information through WhatsApp. We cannot ensure the same level of protection on this channel as through professional e-mail. If we receive such information, we will ask you to continue the discussion by e-mail or in session. Messages received on this channel are deleted once the request has been resolved, within a maximum of 30 days.
5. If you become a service user
This policy covers the website only.
From the moment a professional collaboration begins – a psychological, psychoeducational or neuropsychological assessment – data processing takes place within a distinct, far more detailed framework, which concerns health data and, often, a child’s data.
That framework is described in the Information notice on the processing of personal data, which you receive at the first session, with acknowledgement of receipt.
6. Your rights
In relation to the data processed through this website, you have the right: of access to the data processed; to rectification of inaccurate data; to erasure; to restriction of processing; to object to processing based on legitimate interest; to portability, where applicable.
We do not carry out processing based solely on automated decisions and we do not create profiles.
To exercise these rights you may write to us at psiholog@monicabolocan.ro. We reply within one month of receiving the request.

7. Artificial intelligence
We do not use artificial intelligence in the operation of this website. There are no conversational assistants, no content is generated automatically at the time of the visit, and no automated analysis of visitor behaviour is performed.
Some materials published on the site may be prepared with the support of artificial intelligence tools, as auxiliary instruments for research and drafting, under human verification and responsibility. The full explanation is set out in the Transparency policy on the use of artificial intelligence.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy is reviewed at least annually and, mandatorily, before any technical change to the site that would affect the statements above – the addition of a form, a statistics tool, an embedded third-party element or any module that places cookies.
